Nearly thirty years ago in Bogotá, we met Luis, an artisan who introduced us to a design he called El Faro, The Lighthouse. A simple glass cylinder with a metal dish suspended inside, inspired by lanterns his grandfather used during coastal storms.
There were no blueprints, only memory and tradition. Though we lost touch with Luis, our partners in Colombia worked tirelessly to recreate the piece. Today, these cylinders are handblown from recycled glass, capturing the same quiet magic.
Fill it with seasonal touches or let the floating dish hold a warm candle glow. It's more than decor; it's a legacy illuminated.
