Gather Your Materials
- A sturdy candelabra
- Floral foam for a solid base
- Zip ties to secure everything in place
- A utility knife
- A variety of faux flowers and greenery
- Your creative spirit!
Choose a floral color palette and candlestand based on your styled space. If you’re planning to create multiple centerpieces, consider the candelabras you'll use. Opt for ones with matching height, shape, and color for a harmonious look, or mix and match different candelabras to add a touch of eclectic charm.
"When it comes to selecting flowers, it's all about paying attention to shape, size, and texture. Look for blooms that fall into different categories like Line, Focal, and Filler. Personally, I like to begin with Line flowers, which have a tall and narrow appearance, adding height and structure to arrangements. Then, I incorporate Filler flowers, which typically consist of greenery or smaller blooms, to add volume and depth. It's all about creating a balanced composition that's visually appealing from every angle!"

Step 1: Prepare your Candelabra
Take your candelabra and place it on a flat surface. Next, cut the floral foam to fit snugly into the base of the candelabra. This foam will serve as the foundation for your floral arrangement, providing support and stability for your flowers and greenery. Use zip ties to secure the floral foam in place, trimming any excess for a polished finish.
Step 2: Start Building Your Arrangement
Begin by adding your line, or filler florals, such as greenery or smaller blooms, to the base of the candelabra. These filler florals will help establish the shape and structure of your arrangement, so be sure to place them evenly around the base, covering the floral foam.
Step 3: Layer in Your Focal Flowers
Once you've got your filler florals in place, it's time to add your focal flowers. These are the focal points of your arrangement, so choose blooms that complement each other in color and size. Start by placing larger flowers towards the center of the arrangement, then work your way outwards with smaller blooms and accents.
Step 4: Add Depth and Texture
To give your arrangement depth and texture, incorporate a variety of greenery and foliage. Tuck in sprigs of ferns or eucalyptus between the flowers, filling in any gaps and adding volume to your arrangement. Don't be afraid to let some greenery trail over the sides of the candelabra for a natural, organic look.
Step 5: Get Creative
Just like we did, you might want to introduce another texture into your filler greenery. Mixing and matching different types of greenery can really enhance the natural vibe of your arrangement. We chose to incorporate multiple fillers, bringing balance and depth to the overall look. To finish it off, we let both ends of the arrangement taper off gracefully, creating a beautiful cascading effect along the tablescape.
Once your floral arrangement is finished, there’s just one more step… add the candles! And voila, your beautiful flower centerpiece is complete. Now you're ready to set the table!
